I have insurance with HealthNet. Baby is due in a few months and I’ve left looking into my insurance to the last minute.

My deductible is $8,550
My Out of Pocket Max is 8550 – In network
My Out of Pocket Max is 17000 – Out of Network
My Co-Pay for in network is 0% for vaginal births, c sections and postpartum care
Questions
Will I pay $8,550 (deductible amount) then the insurance pays the rest?
Then the $8,550 would go towards my Out of Pocket Max for both in network and out of network or only in network?
So I will have hit the out of pocket max for in network and hit half of it for out of network?
I was reading some stories that someone got hit with a large bill and their insurance didn’t cover them.
What scenarios would this be more likely to happen – My insurance covers vaginal births, c sections and postpartum care for baby.
