My mother has had a herniated disc for around 10 years now, she has learned to get by without surgery but is very limited in her daily activity. She is in her mid 50’s, separated from my dad (not officially), doesn’t work (no insurance), lives a very sedentary life as she can’t do any active work. Up until a few years ago we couldn’t afford any treatment because of financial issues but now I really want her to get her health back and possibly get the surgery. What’s the best way to go about it? Do i need to look into insurances or is it better to do it without insurance? how much is it going to cost me?
