Hello, I am on an Aetna HMO plan and was wondering how referrals work. I got a referral to see a specialist, but if the specialist needs to order more tests or request MRI/CT scans, do I need to go back to my PCP to refer me for that or will the MRI/CT that the specialist orders be covered.
