How can I pay for only my wife’s health insurance?

I am a federal employee. When I got this job my wife was in need of health coverage so I of course signed up for it immediately. As I am a veteran with a disability rated of over 50%, I actually receive excellent healthcare for no cost at all, but when I looked at the options to cover my wife, the only way she could be covered was if I was covered as well.

I was hoping that someone in this sub knew of a way that I could take myself off the plan, while keeping my wife on it, with the goal being my paycheck being docked a little bit less. It’s currently nearly 200 bucks a check. I have federal blue cross blue shield currently though there are other options as well.

Thanks for any help.
