I am very particular about choosing doctors, and in the past I would straight up tell my PCP the name of the specialist when I had another HMO plan, is this possible with Kaiser?
I’m in the bay area in CA and there are many Kaiser facilities nearby and that’s why I’m thinking Kaiser may be more convenient instead of Blue Shield PPO? There are 22 Kaiser dermatologists nearby where I live. They are all saying accepting new patients, but by referral only, would that mean my PCP can refer me to any one of them?
