I had a cotton swab and labs sent out for a weird patch on my skin, got a bill for $1300 a month later. My insurance is refusing to cover because my in network doctor sent to an out of network lab. They told me they would adjust it to in network because this is no fault of mine, but said they wouldn’t send an email stating such. They said I’d get a letter in the mail with new balance owed. Letter arrives today and says my claim was denied and I still owe in full. What do I do, call again and repeat myself til I’m blue in the face?
