How does “coinsurance”work?

Choosing between two plans with all the same copays/out of pocket max/ and coverage. 2850 deductible vs. 5000 with a $25 difference in premium weekly. The coinsurance says “100%”. What does this mean? From examples I’ve read online the amount stated is usually the responsibility of the member. Ex. 20% coinsurance means you are responsible for 20% of the bill.
