I will be moving from Illinois to Arizona and once I get to Arizona I will be applying for medicaid but I need to continue physical therapy and see doctor’s asap for a condition I have. I see arizona has retroactive medicaid or what they call prior quarter coverage and they will cover doctors costs and such 1-3 months the day the application is put in once accepted for medicaid.
How exactly does that work, like how do I know what doctors will be covered? I called some doctor and major university hospitals and they either didn’t know what I was talking about it said I either needed to pay or have insurance. Would like some more info to understand please. Thank you
