I’m self employed. I pay for my insurance. It’s quite expensive.
I decided to check out healthcare.gov. Holy shit it’s more expensive than what I pay.
My plan:
$350 premium
$5000 deductible
100% coinsurance after deductible met.
Works in network anywhere in America.
When I went on healthcare.gov, the plans there were more expensive, and had only 50% coinsurance and were only good in one state.
How is this even possible?
How do normal people have $9k per year to spend on health insurance?
