How much does health insurance cost you?

Health insurance continues to be quite expensive. I’m curious what folks are paying in different parts of the US and under what circumstances. I noticed apples-to-apples coverage for car insurance, some places were cheaper than others. Maybe it’s similar with health insurance.

For a family HSA plan, the best option I have found thus far through employer is/was >$15k annual premium AFTER employer contribution, with an $8k deductible. So it would cost me over $23k a year to see any healthcare cost benefits. The HSA does have some benefits for investment purposes, but not at costing $15k a year that could be invested elsewhere. ACA was even more expensive.

The deductible being higher than the maximum HSA contribution is nuts.

I bet paying cash, $23k could go a long way, combined with something like the cost-sharing programs (CHMS, etc).
