I have a PPO (HSA plan) with BlueCross Blueshield of Illinois and I want to estimate the cost of an in-network Planned Parenthood visit for gender services.
My PP office said they bill insurance about $150-190 for the first visit.
Assuming I haven’t met my deductable or OOP maximum this year at all. Does this mean I will pay $150-190? Or will it somehow be a reduced amount because they have a contracted rate? BCBSIL was not able to give me an answer to this question.
