How to contribute to HSA through Healthcare.gov

Hi there. My wife and I will be moving to a new state for a job I am taking. Unfortunately, the first year there will be an internship which does not offer health insurance. So, I am looking at healthcare.gov, and actually pretty pleased with the options. I notice some offer HSA’s, but I am unsure how the pre-tax income would make its way into the HSA if the account is not linked to my employer. We are young and healthy, and hope to have a kid in the next two years, so I think having a HD/HSA plan is wise. Can anyone give me some insight as to how the HSA would be contributed to if bought through the marketplace?
