HSA vs HMO? Which plan should I get?

Recently got my first full-time job and I have zero idea how health insurance works (please ELI5). The option is between an HSA HMO and an HMO, both Kaiser. I’ve read that an HSA is good if you’re generally in good health, but I would really love some clarification on how they’re different and what I should consider. Is a $1400 deductible good? Here’s a screenshot of the plan summary. Thanks!
