Browsing ACA plans and I see that some are marked as “Eligible for a Health Savings Account”, but there are a bunch of plans, that seem eligible but are not flagged. They still seem to be in the correct range with deductibles >1400 and OOP Max < 7000.
The “Eligible” silver plans are more expensive than some non flagged gold plans with for example a 1450 deductible and 6300 OOP max.
I assume there are some coverage differences associated with the variance in pricing between the levels. But am I missing something with regards to HSA eligibility?
