So long story short, I am married and 32. So according to catastrophic coverage, I’m over 30 so I don’t qualify. And I don’t meet any of the qualifications to qualify over 30. My husband has a great job and his insurance is free, however to add me and my son (4months old) it’s over $650 a month. We can’t afford that. That’s literally both of our car payments or half of our mortgage. And the deductible is still $8,000!
Can anyone tell me what a multi-plan is? Is it worth it? Are there any other options for some type of coverage for me and my son without having to pay most of my paycheck just to health insurance?
