I’ll try to give as much detail as I can but I’m not highly educated on insurance matters and I end up getting confused.
I’ll start off by saying I’m a 21 year old female with a handful of health issues. I recently lost insurance coverage and I’m in need of insurance so I can get back on medication and start going back to treatments but I’m having a few issues.
I got married when I was 18 and we have recently started the divorce process. I was on my husbands health insurance but have since been taken off. I’m unemployed currently and don’t have the $300+ every month for insurance policies. I’m unable to join my parents policy and I’ve applied for government assistance but have been denied and the reason I’ve been given is because my husband and I filed taxes separately.
I live in California and am honestly at a loss. I’m not sure what to do next and I apologize if this isn’t the place to ask, I just feel as though I’ve exhausted all options.

I appreciate the help π
