I got a job – COBRA/healthcare.gov until the insurance kicks on, or spouses plan until annual enrollment?

I got a new job. My insurance will end May 1 and my new insurance will start July 1, so I’ll need to figure out what happens for the two months between.

Are there any other options I am missing here worth exploring?

COBRA – $1800/mo premium for two months

Spouses plan – $500/month premium for 6 months (I’d go on the new jobs insurance during annual enrollment)

Still need to see what my options are on the marketplace. The application is very long so I haven’t looked into it too deeply yet. I kind of doubt there will be many cheaper options with our annual income ($120k/yr). Any experience with these plans?

Ideally I’d go without for two months but that seems risky.
