I know nothing about health insurance and I need some help.

I am 20 years old, and because I’m not going to college I will lose Tricare at the end of this year when I turn 21. I just bought a house and I live alone so there is really no way for me to get insurance through anyone else and I’m also on a budget. Where I work, benefits aren’t based off of whether you are a full time or part time employee, but rather the average hours you work. If you work above 30+ hours you qualify for benefits. BUTTTT this means no time off unless it’s paid time off and we only get a week of it. For example if I wanted to take an unpaid week off here and there, it would lower my average hours to where I could potentially lose my benefits. I’ve been looking into buying my own on the marketplace, and with aca it would cost me under $50 a month. But I don’t qualify for it because my employer offers benefits and I meet the requirements for those benefits. I want to be able to take time off to spend time with family or take a much needed break from work. Is there ANY way around this? It’s hard to google my exact situation and get a straight forward answer. So any recommendations help.
