I turned 27 this year which marks a year without health insurance. It’s been fine but recently I’ve been worried and have a feeling I might have some health issues that could cause trouble down the road
Unfortunately I can’t afford health insurance right now. My job doesn’t offer it at all. The public market is closed but when I was last looking the cheapest policy I could find was about $200 a month. Which everyone has told me is a great price, but I just can’t afford it. I make roughly $30K (on paper) but take home less.
Is there any emergency health care I can apply for? I haven’t been to the doctor in over 5 years (my fault for not doing it when insured) and now I really could use a check up
