I used to earn about 45-50k years ago.. health insurance was great, now that I’m making 110-120k I don’t qualify for any help, EVERYTHING is on me! A single mother of 2, 1 going to college right now. The pos insurance from work is 700$/ month with a 7k deductible which has to be met BEFORE anything is paid.. soo in other words 14k a year thrown in the garbage for a “benefit”, at this point I wish I was back w my 50k where I could get help with the insurance, help with food when the kids were younger.. what’s the point of “making it”?? If u see my other posts I’m trying to marry my BF just so that I can afford health care, like WTF!!! so being single sucks? I hate this system- I hate the people that take advantage of it BUT damn- what’s the point in growing and working hard? If pride could pay my medical bills then it would be worth it but it doesn’t — Everything seems to be a scam- everything for us working people is hard and almost a punishment. I’m so tired that at 45 after failed marriages I have to choose between the heart and whats “ needed to survive”.. now I understand why so many failed marriages stay together. I’m so broken- so if I marry my BF how would this affect me? My sons college ? I’m tired of having to plan every move- tired of being scared of “ what’s next?” How is the system gonna fuxk me over again. Thanks for listening- rant over
