Good evening. I just had a quick question regarding my health insurance plan. I’m 27 (28 in 2 weeks) and currently covered under my parent’s health insurance – Medi-Cal Health Net Regal. I thought that plan expires once I’m 26 but I am still covered (would this be due to the pandemic?) Also, my future employer is offering a couple hundred dollars/month to cover my own health insurance. I’m not sure if I need to accept this perk if I’m covered under my parent’s insurance anyway. Does anyone have any idea how long people over 26+ are still being covered? Thank you!
