Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am a new nanny working for a couple 20 to 35 ish hours a week at 17 an hour. it’s a temporary job for me and I do online reselling as a side to pay bills. I just turned 26 and needed to apply for medicaid because I am bipolar and am on a few extremely important medications… The people I work for pay me on venmo since their schedule isn’t regular and are moving in august.. I didn’t claim that income because it’s through venmo and they aren’t claiming it and don’t want to mess up their taxes. Am I commuting fraud?? It hadn’t even occurred to me because I live pay check to paycheck and have been broke as hell my whole adult life. My pay leaves me with maybe $100 dollars after bills and utilities. I try to do markets for my clothing. Money for me since I left my job at Trader Joes has been just doing what I can any way I can to get by. This is what everyone told me to do because I need insurance and cant afford it out of pocket… it is so confusing to me.. I have my interview for medicaid tomorrow and i’m suddenly horrified that i’m lying and doing something wrong I just have no idea what they are going to ask or what I should say.. ahhhh!! They want all this information that is not set in stone for me at all I have like 6 adults i babysit for I randomly house sit do photography, etc. does that make sense? 🤔 thank you guys so much
