I’m trying to pick out my first private health insurance, and I have some questions

I’m looking for health insurance and I’m not really sure what some things mean. I’m a single guy in his 20s with fairly good health in the past, Indianapolis area, with an income of around 40k a year. One person at work told me to use CareSource (Indiana), my dad’s friend said to use Christian MediShare (since they can’t drop you), and I’m reading alot about United Healthcare online.

I don’t know what kind of deductible is best, what coinsurance I should be looking for, or how to tell if I’m going to get dropped if I get something serious. Any advice would be great.

(I would also like to get dental if possible. I don’t know if thats normally included or if I need to look for plans that provide that)
