I’m sorry if I made any mistakes in this post, but I’m currently a 21-year old male college student located in Pennsylvania trying to get health insurance for myself.
My mom told me at the beginning of the year that she could not have me as part of her health insurance plan anymore. She does not get health insurance through her employer, so I was part of her Medicaid plan I believe.
I signed up for a state plan through Pennie and I think I signed up for a government funded plan which I think is Medicaid?
This is my first time navigating through a process like this and I’m very confused. Such as can I sign up for Medicaid at any time of the year? And I got the Medicaid application papers and it’s asking me for my future and past employer information, but what if they were only part time jobs that I don’t work at anymore? Do I still need to provide the income I earned then?
