Hi! Can someone please help explain this to me?
I just found out I am expecting and I’m looking for a new obgyn in my area (Austin, tx). I found one I like on paper and she’s in network, but the rest of her 5 doctor practice is out of network. My understanding is they take turns being on call for the hospital. So my question is, if I happen to go in to deliver and she’s not available and one of her partners deliver the baby or is involved in my care, will it be considered out of network?
Thank you in advance for your time!
