I’m in the process of applying for medi-cal. My income and health insurance are both ending June 1st. I just spoke to a medi-cal worker and she advised that I still might not qualify because they don’t count monthly income- they count yearly income. So she said it will be based off of all the income I have received up until June. Does this sound right? Even if my income is $0 a month I can’t qualify for medi-cal because of how much I made earlier in the year?
