[Indiana] Loss of Coverage Question

Hey everyone,

Asking here because I’m not sure where to turn. My girlfriend turns 26 this coming November, and was anticipating being covered until then. Her estranged father has had her on his insurance plan for her entire life until this point, and suddenly removed her from the insurance plan without letting her know. It’s (obviously) now March and the regular Open Enrollment period has ended, and we’re outside the 60 days from when coverage was lost (as far as we know), so is she just screwed for insurance this year? She takes a couple medications and it would not go well for her to either pay for those out of pocket or to just stop taking them for the year until she can get onto employer coverage. She tried to get onto employer coverage recently, but was denied for reasons I don’t fully understand. I think she lacked the proof of lack of insurance?

Basically any help or advice to get us through 2022 would be much appreciated. Feel free to ask further questions.
