So I am currently under my dad’s insurance for a few more months until I turn 26, my dad’s insurance is based in New Jersey but he has worked only for the branch in CA and we both live here. I was looking at options after turning 26 and saw that NJ has “Extension of Dependent Coverage.” Would that apply to my situation since the insurance is based in NJ? Or do we actually have to live there to be eligible for this? I’m just confused 🙂 Thank you for any help.
