My girlfriend’s insurance has denied covering our daughter’s after birth bills while at the hospital.
Her insurance did cover giving birth, however my insurance for the baby says they don’t cover the baby bills after birth while at the hospital and the insurance for the mother is supposed to pay for that. My girl friends insurance has denied it twice and says they don’t cover the baby at all and just the mother.
What the hell is going on? Does anyone have any legal advice? Both insuraces are claiming they don’t cover it and the other one is supposed to cover it… I’ve been back and forth with both of them and have gotten nowhere.
My insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield for the baby and my girlfriends is through her mom’s insurance which is Cigna.
