Insurance of my wife: Medi-Cal or under my insurance?

I am a full-time employee and my wife is currently a student. I am trying to figure out what would be the best option for her insurance. Both my wife and I are healthy and we don’t use anything for medical expenses. She currently has Medi-Cal as she’s a student with no income.

I can add my wife to my company plan, but this would cost ~300/month vs if she keeps her Medi-Cal, then she doesn’t need to pay anything.

Since both my wife and I haven’t been really needing our health insurance, I have 0 knowledge in terms of coverage differences between my company vs Medi-Cal.

What would be the best option for my wife? Should I have to keep her Medi-Cal or pay 300/month and keep her under my insurance? is Medi-Cal good enough to cover emergency and stuff?
