My fiancee and I are getting married in the next few weeks. We recently found out within the last few months that she has MS. We have sperate insurance and she is only working part time, so with her income level she is able to get financial aid on her medical bills.
We’re concerned that when we get married that she will have to report my income to her insurance and this wouldn’t allow her to get the financial aid to help with her bills anymore. Does anyone have experience with this?
If the answer is yes, she has to report my income, does getting a prenuptial agreement help to keep our medical stuff separate at all?
