International PhD Student, have some doubts about medical and medical insurance

So I got a fully-funded Ph.D. admission in one of the good colleges in the state of Maryland, what I can see in my offer letter is that health insurance is being included

I am an Indian and is diagnosed with GAD and OCD. Due to my medications and excellent support system by my psychiatrist and my psychologist, I largely am able to keep my symptoms at bay save for a few days when I have a bad day of sleep.

The issue is I am not entirely positive about how medical works here in the USA and one of my biggest stresses is if I am able to get the same type of support here which doesn’t put a hole in my wallet. My psychiatrist and therapist both are willing to have a zoom call if I come here, but then I am doubtful the prescription of my psychiatrist from India would be valid here in the states. These questions are really stressing me a lot as I have to commit for supposedly 5 years.

If it helps I am covered with Atena Medical Insurance, however I have absolutely no idea how medical insurance in US works, so I wasnt able to make a head or tail out of it by going through their website
