I checked healthcare.gov and there aren’t any options available with Iowa. I’ve also called a few agents that contract with Blue Cross and they’ve told me the same thing. Only HMO and EPO plans are available.
The problem is I have family I visit in California 3-4 times a year and travel out of state when I can. I can’t have anything less than a PPO. Incase of an emergency there’s no way I can foot a $20,000 bill. I would much rather pay a huge premium for piece of mind.
I don’t know what to do.
