Is an FSA worth it for me?

So I currently have two dental insurances at the moment. One is Medicaid and the other is a dental insurance from my job. The dental insurance is pretty pricey at least for me it is. It has a $2000 max insurance contribution. I’ve already done a cleaning on it. But I found that my teeth need much more work than I realized. I’m pretty sure I’ll need 2 root canals at least along with crowns. My job’s insurance will only cover I believe 50% of what the crowns will cost. As for the root canals, it might also be 50% or 80%. I’d need to look over it again. But my job also offers an FSA. I’m thinking I’ll open one up and use that money towards my dental treatments as well. My Medicaid dental insurance is expected to run out in a few months. I’m not sure if I’ll qualify again. I doubt I will. I do support my mom and myself. But I can’t claim my mother because she’s undocumented and I’m pretty sure I can only claim children and spouses. I’m going to attempt to do my root canals before my Medicaid ends but not sure Metroplus Medicaid will cover that. I also need some minor work for a few cavities which I want to do under Medicaid as well. But the more serious work I expect to have to pay out of pocket for. The max I can put in is $2,500. How do I go about this? Any advice please.
