I started a new job about 5 weeks ago. Since I’m the first employee, they don’t have a group plan. Before this, I did not have insurance since I was an independent contractor. They are offering to reimburse me for the plan as long as it’s ACA compliant. I can’t go through the marketplace since I have DACA. Is getting a new job like this considered a qualifying life event?
