Is it illegal for me to use my sisters information (with her permission) to see a doctor?

I’m sure I know the answer, but I wanted to check for reasons I’m about to list.

First, I will admit that it is my fault I am currently uninsured. I am a student (23) that was covered under Tricare, when I aged out less than a week before the deadline for applying for gov’t healthcare. I misunderstood how healthcare works and didn’t realize that you have to wait for it to activate on a monthly (?) basis, despite qualifying for the special circumstances deadline. So I am currently uninsured until October 1st.

I was going to go to the free clinic today, but they’re closed, and all other nearby clinics only accept local residents with proof of residency in that city. My sister and I are close in age, and she is insured through the government. She offered for me to use her information to see a doctor, as every single urgent care/doctor that’s actually open today does not offer financial assistance.

I’m a little worried and feel a strong urge about needing to see someone, as I contracted covid 3 weeks ago, and I think it heavily lowered my immune system. I think I have a sinus infection (I’ve never had one tho). I have little to no sense of smell, taste, breathing feels like i inhaled water through my nose, I have a low grade fever, and it’s now moved down to my chest, making it hard to breathe when I exert myself too much or the air gets humid. So I’m getting kinda worried, as I also have asthma.

How bad of an idea is that? Blue cross Blueshield doesn’t offer retroactive coverage, and I’m a broke student, so I can’t afford to see an actual doctor without coverage. If it’s a bad idea, does anyone know of any other options?

Sorry if this sounds sketchy, I swear I’ve never done something this questionable before, but I’m just a little desperate to make sure it’s not something dangerous.

Edit: I am 23, income is unreliable based on student loans as I do odd jobs for friends and family, so maybe $200 a month? And I’m in upstate SC.

EDIT 2: I go to a technical college, and I don’t get insurance through them, sadly. Or else I’d hop on it SO fast.
