I got an itemized statement from my doctor’s office. They bill $32 for each allergy shot. Insurance covers about $6 and they are balance billing me for the rest of it.
My doctor is in network. Is that even legal? I thought the whole point to having in network providers is that they agree to accept the contracted amount the insurance company pays and not balance bill the patient.
