I went to a doctor, and eventually got a bill. The insurer has already paid part of the bill, and the remaining amount was billed to me by the doctor/clinic.
Is this how it normally works? I would’ve expected the insurer to pay it and then bill me whatever I owed.
It seems more logical that the insurer handles all the billing.
