Is there a resource to help explain what I should do when moving temporarily?

I lived in California, I took a job for 5 months in New Orleans. It’s irrelevant to continue paying for the health insurance because I can’t use it here. I was on the phone with Covered California and they were of no help at all basically telling me to research what I should do. I don’t even know if it’s considered moving out of the state if it’s not for at least 6 months and I would technically still be considered a resident of CA. I just want to know if there is a resource for someone that can guide me because Covered CA basically told me to use healthcare.Gov but when I call them I can’t connect with anyone. Help!
