Is there any way for a minor to be on their own health insurance?

I’m 16 and live with my mother (father deceased) who after switching to a new job does not have health insurance, nor is she inclined to get some. This is fine, however as a transgender guy who is planning on medically transitioning, costs can quickly get insanely high, so if possible I’d like to insure myself so that I can get some coverage. Is it possible for me to be on my own insurance at 16 or 17, and if not would it be possible for my mother to get insurance and only cover me under it (I have two siblings, an 8YO and a 20YO.) I’m sorry if this seems like a dumb question, I just have no idea how to begin navigating this.
