I am on Medicare and have to go to a different state for a medical procedure. This procedure is obviously not covered by my state’s Medicare. My concern is not having any medical insurance while I am out of state having a medical procedure. Will Medicare cover emergencies while I am out of state? Does short term (By the week? For one month?) medical insurance exist that can be purchased for this type of situation?
