I went to a Dermatologist just to get something checked, it took literally 5 minutes. They billed me $85 which is a little excessive but fair enough.
Then I got a notice from my health insurance company that they’ve denied over $500 in charges from that dermatology appointment. I was never asked to pay it by the medical office itself, and it’s been months. So were they just trying to scam the insurance company for free money and got caught or something, since they haven’t asked me for the money?
