ISO Health Insurance

Hi! I’m an international student coming to North Carolina for undergrad.

I’m trying to find a cheaper alternative to Blue Cross Blue Shield.

About my health condition: I lived in the States for 3 years and got a cold once. Aside from that, no health problems. I’m just really anxious about injuries, so something that helps with unexpected-accident-that-causes-major-damage I’ll look into.

My question is how credible is ISO? Is this something I can rely on? I read somewhere that you gotta pay around $200/month for an insurance to actually work, but is that really the case? What are the other options out there for international student?

Thank you so much! I appreciate any comments on the matter. Please let me know if you need more info.
