As titled, I was a new patient, it was my first visit to Jefferson health. I told the doctor I wanted to do an annual check up and we chatted about my previous situation and then he sent me to a lab to do a blood test. I thought it was a part of the annual check up so I did the lab also I’ve checked that blood test is in the insurance covered plan.
also I have him helped me signed on a driver license check up paper as I told him I wanted a annual check up. He charged me $168 for that according to the itemized bill.
So right now I’ve received this bill after three months of visit. At most I believe there’s miscommunication between the doctor and me. I told him the purpose of my visit is “annual check”. I wouldn’t even go if I knew this would happens. Guys, any suggestions?
