I live in Colorado, but my employer and employer-provided health insurance are based out of another state. Do Colorado’s health insurance prompt payment laws apply to this health insurance company since they have subscribers in Colorado? If I want to submit a complaint, do I submit it to the DOI of Colorado, or the state where my insurer is located?
