Day 1, go to Doctor with symptoms and have to take off work. She can’t evaluate me but she sees me for 10 minutes and referred me to another Dr (No idea if they are in network) and the Dr isn’t even taking new patients. SEVENTY FIVE BUCKS just for NOTHING! I call up Excellus and try to get a list of providers in network and their system is down. Took the nice lady 2 tries to email me the list… some “service” not her fault. BUT WHY is their system having that much trouble? It’s designed to be frustrating. Then I ask her how much they pay for the service and she says nothing because I haven’t met the 7K/year deductible. Mind you, I’m trying to get myself a mental health evaluation on a possible issue. People WORSE OFF than me might die before they get anything close to seeing a doctor. Prices per session are $100! PER SESSION!
They want us to pay them and die by suicide. That’s THE BEST CASE scenario, fir an insurance company. This isn’t HEALTHCARE This is NOTHING like healthcare.
