Hey all,
Made a new account to talk about this. I (20, F, Bay Area CA) have severe insomnia and pain since a series of concussions I had when I was younger, and have prescriptions for xanax, clomazapam and valium (I’ve tried everything else, including therapy, TMS, CBT, nerve blocks, psychedelic treatments, every holistic option I could find, etc). These prescriptions were really the only solution that allowed me to sleep and function.
However, about a month ago I took too much advil after a day of particularly insufferable pain and was put on a 5150 after getting my vitals checked. Now, Kaiser is refusing to fill my prescriptions- Ive tried several pharmacy locations and none were able to get it filled, until one doctor told me the news. I’m worried this case will follow me even if I switch healthcare providers. What are my options- should I look into legal help?
Thanks kindly for any advice.
