Hi all! i’m in the process of trying to schedule a surgery and am looking through my current insurance’s coverage. According to what i’m reading, my surgery is considered “reconstructive” surgery under BCBS, as long as certain criteria are met (all of which i meet), as opposed to a “medically necessary” surgery. What does this mean in terms of coverage?
