I am eligible for a $350/month tax credit via helathcare.gov but I want to find a plan that has a low deductible for out-of-network care. The BlueCross Blue Shield PPO plans on healthcare.gov have a $15,000 deductible for out-of-network care. I wasn’t able to to check all the other plans because there are hundreds and no way to filter by out-of-network deductible but I tried 50 of them and they didn’t have out-of-network coverage. I’m willing to consider plans outside healthcare.gov as I could be spending > $12,000 for treatment (TMS) without insurance but I need to get it at a specific provider that happens to be out-of-network and doesn’t take insurance. Any ideas? Thanks.
