I bought health insurance on the marketplace last year….you know because my bartending job didn’t offer insurance, and I’m “too rich” for Medicaid.
I’m 33 and with covid going around I decided I needed insurance. (Imagine getting a disease and spending $50k+ on hospital bills)
A few months after buying insurance on the marketplace I tried to update my income a couple different times via phone and internet. Never once got updated, even after actually speaking to a human on the phone who said they updated my account.
Currently, I owe money for a telecom doctor visit copay. I login to my account and it won’t show me my bill. This entire system is so beyond fucked up. They want us to fail, they want to have no access to healthcare.
We are doomed.
